| Menasha Packaging Employee Earns Elite Certification as Color Management Professional |
Neenah, Wis. (April 6, 2011) As part of an innovation-driven focus at Menasha Packaging, employee Scott Vanden Boom recently achieved certification as a Color Management Professional (CMP)-Master Trainer after successfully completing the prestigious training program through IDEAlliance. Vanden Boom, a G7 expert and litho team coordinator with the company's Folding Carton Group, is one of nine Master Trainers in the world to earn this certification and the first to complete the new printing curriculum.
With the CMP certification Vanden Boom will play a pivotal role in improving color accuracy and brand color integrity, establishing color managed workflows, and controlling image and color application. With a Master Trainer certification, Vanden Boom is also qualified to serve as an instructor of CMP courses.
The CMP-Master Trainer credential required significant preparation and years of pre-press graphics expertise on Vanden Boom's part. To attain certification, individuals must complete a series of four courses Color Management Fundamentals, CMP for Photography, CMP for Premedia and a new course-CMP for Printing.
"Scott is part of an elite group of print packaging professionals who are setting the world-class standards in color management," said Kari Juadis, sales manager for the Folding Carton Group. "He is a trusted advisor to our customers brand graphics teams and, as a result, Menasha's Folding Carton Group is viewed as a trusted strategic partner."
Vanden Boom said it is important to further his education to consistently meet customer color expectations and requirements, and ensure brand integrity in their print products.
"Bridging the gap between the customer, graphic designer, and printer, Menasha can provide color management solutions that empower the entire graphic communications chain," said Vanden Boom. "This philosophy mirrors Menasha's Retail Integration Institute focus of providing our customers' value to every segment of the supply chain."
